Avoid brushing of wet hair. Wet hair is at its weakest when wet. Hence, a small disturbance will lead to excess hair coming out which might lead to a bald head. You should hence avoid brushing it, especially at this stage. The best way is to keep it that way for it to dry on itself. Although, if you have to brush the hair when wet, ensure you use a hairbrush with large bristle spaces to avoid putting stress on it which might pull it out.

Keep yourself hydrated. Make sure you hydrate your body well on a daily basis. Body health is also dependent on how hydrated you are. To a great extent, body health will tend to influence your hair health. So, you need to take enough water for this purpose. At least eight glasses of water daily are essential to improve hair shaft hydration since a quarter of its composition is made up of water.

Make sure you keep the hair off constant heating and drying. The hair will become weak on constant heats and drying. Avoid subjecting your hair to regular heating and drying. Men with long hair should avoid those hairstyles which involve these two processes.

Taking good care of your mane is essential. Study it well and determine what is that that leads to its loss and that which strengthens it. By doing this, you will come up with a list of dons and dos for your tresses. This composes a care routine which you must follow strictly to avoid hair loss.

Keep yourself stress-free. Through stress, a lot of body disorders occur which are harmful not only to your overall body health but also to the hair. To prevent the occurrence of hormonal imbalances which lead to baldness, stress should get avoided.
