Southern State cooking and meals are something that are seen as unique and adventurous to some gourmands and foodies. Most are intrigued by the French and Cajun style dishes that are getting quite a lot of airtime on television and cable lately. Apart from looking at the menus online, try to look in forums and ask the local Louisiana community, if there is one, where one would go to find the real deal. Asking a local is always the best sometimes when looking for something authentic and worthwhile.
