What it is, more than half of the human population on this planet may not know. I had been a part of this people until I heard it brought up in the film The Bucket list. From what one could get in the movie, this is the priciest coffee in the entire world. Therefore here's what I came across about Kopi Luwak.

But back to Kopi Luwak coffee, it's regarded as a gourmet sort of drink. In case my personal opinion mattered, it's most likely because of it rarity. And due to that scarcity, it really is expensive. It's really a sort of caffeine of which the beans goes through an unconventional procedure. The ripest coffee berries tend to be eaten with a wild creature known as the Luwak or technically, Paradoxurus Hermaphroditus. These kinds of wildlife consume the berries but since their tummies are not able to break up the beans, they pass it out with the exact same form. Another plus for that caffeine is that the flavor includes a chocolate kick and it has an aftertaste which lingers in the tongue.
