New Recipes That Use Gelatin Molds For Sale

Summer is already approaching, bringing with it the hot humid air that invites us to go out and play. Nowadays, more and more people are thinking of ways to defeat the heat. Most people have thought of going to the beach with family or a large group of friends to get a tanned skin. Some are riding their bikes or flying kites or fishing with buddies. Some have chosen to stay inside homes with air conditioning.

A sure fire way to enjoy the majestic and fine weather while indulging on your cravings is through trying out dessert recipes that can both keep us full and cool at the same time. Numerous recipes serve to beat the heat. But, if you are aiming for something new, then perhaps you might want to add gelatin that obtain various forms through gelatin molds for sale.

This substance is, in pure form, colorless and tasteless. It is a product of processing meat. It is a very popular dessert item that is easy to prepare. There are now more than enough colored and flavored kinds available almost in very store.

One recipe you should try is the Seven Layer Salad. It is very easy to prepare. All you need to have are seven envelopes of differently colored jellies, a can of evaporated milk, whipped cream topping, and four and a half cups of hot and cold water, respectively.

First coat a 9x13 dish with cooking spray. Next, dissolve a pack in three fourths cup of boiled water then add also three fourths cup of cold water. Spoon into the mold and refrigerate. Dissolve another pack in one half cup of boiling water. Once dissolved, add half cup of cold water. Place on top of first layer and repeat until all seven packages are utilized. Before serving, top with whipped cream.

Another dessert recipe is the Broken Glass. For this you will need one and a half cups of crumbled graham crackers, half a cup each of sugar and melted butter, and a package each of strawberry, lime, and orange flavored jelly. You will also need an envelope of unflavored gelatin, one fourth cup cold water, a cup of pineapple juice, and a carton of thawed frozen whipped topping.

You can start by making the crust. To do this, simply mix together the graham, sugar, and butter and press it on a greased pan. Allow the crust to chill by placing it in the fridge for a few minutes.

The next step is to cook the unflavored jelly in pineapple juice. Place the jelly in a huge bowl and set aside. Cook the other flavors by dissolving each package in one half cup of boiling water each. Once these have become firm, you can get to work by cutting them into cubes. Fold all the jellies in expertly whipped cream, then spoon onto the crust. Chill the dessert in the refrigerator for about two hours, then serve once it has set.

Truly, eating cold dessert is a marvelous way of celebrating the coming of summer. All these recipes are possible through the use of molds that help set the gelatin. You can even make one original recipe of your own if you try. With creativity, a sweet tooth and a great love for food, anything is possible.
