Celiac Bagels Are Easy To Prepare

If you do not tolerate gluten, it is not easy for you to find delicious and convenient substitutions for your favorite treats. Such food is mostly expensive, and sometimes it can not be said that it is delicious. Some bakeries offer delicious products, but you can always try to bake them yourself.

Although most bakeries offer a large variety of breads, the one prepared in your own kitchen will surely be the most delicious. You do not have to have your own bread maker to prepare excellent bread. Making delicious celiac bagels is also very easy, and you will surely enjoy your products endlessly. Not to mention the perfect aroma of freshly made bread in your home.

Good quality gluten-free flour is essential. There are many different types, and you can also combine some of them to find your favorite combination. Gluten-free starch is something that will make your bread, but also other types of pastry, fluffier and tastier, and you can add some to your mixture if you want. Of course, you will need some dry yeast, water, milk, oil, sugar, and some salt.

This basic recipe contains three cups good quality gluten-free flour, two teaspoons dry yeast, and a half of a teaspoon baking powder. The addition of baking powder makes your dough rise faster. You will also need two tablespoons oil, a little bit of gluten-free starch, lukewarm water and milk. Make a dough using these ingredients and let it rise.

Make circles and cut hole in each. Place them on a piece of oiled baking paper, and leave them there to rise again. Cook for about twenty seconds in boiling salted water and put them back on oiled baking paper. Preheat the oven and bake your bagels for maybe 20 minutes. It really depends on their size.

Of course, you can add any type of delicious seeds in your dough, such as sesame, chopped pumpkin seeds or chopped nuts, hazelnuts, pieces of dried fruit or a few poppy seeds. If you want to prepare sweet rolls, just add more sugar to your dough. If you want, you can even add an egg, why not. With an addition of cinnamon, dry ginger or a pinch of vanilla, this can make a perfect simple dessert.

Eggs will make your dough richer. If you don't like the idea of adding eggs in your dough, and you would like to add some proteins in, just add some chia seeds in your dough. Simply soak some seeds in lukewarm water first, and then add this mixture while preparing the dough. You will get valuable proteins your body needs, and it won't change the flavor.

If your basic idea is to make perfect little sandwiches, use your imagination to make those sandwiches even more tasty. For example, add some herbs and spices, chopped hot chili peppers, dried tomatoes, sage or oregano. I this case, it's nice to replace the fat with good quality olive oil. You could also add some grated cheese, and in this case make sure to use olive oil. Combine and enjoy, it's easy, interesting and above all tasty.
