Moles will dig tunnels and holes everywhere as they search for food. They will not eat your grass or plants, but the damage they cause underground makes the roots to be exposed. These devices are designed to clasp and kill moles and not trap them alive. Besides, the setting of these tools has to be done right otherwise, they will not capture the animals.

However, they will wreck havoc on the roots when they are creating the tunnels looking for meals. The digging of tunnels is what makes the grass to wither and dry because the roots are either cut off or exposed and freed from the soils where they get nutrients. The damage, which can be caused by this little creature, is very unimaginable and they can be difficult and stubborn to eliminate.

It may require you to spend some days examining their movements in order to discover, which tunnels they are using to get in and get out. At times, you might have to set some cameras to take footage especially at night. Understanding the whole network of the tunnels and how moles use the chambers, can help in ensuring that you set the trapping tools in the right place.
