Good Effects Of Allowing Your Child Play With Soft Dolls

By Lessie Kaufman

Childhood stage is perhaps one of the best times of the life of a person. This stage is where one is allowed to have all sorts of fun and explore new things. The absence of responsibilities also make these enticing. Of course, it is also the best time to indulge in playing all day long, whether alone or with a large group.

Experts say that playing can really give so many benefits to children. It hones physical development, develops muscles, and strengthens the immunity. It also develops the emotional and social aspects of human development. These things are often made possible with the help of some toys. Different toys are meant for different ages, but Soft Dolls are deemed safe enough for kids of all ages.

This very popular childrens toy is a figure that is basically made out of cloth. This plaything is stuffed with scraps of cloth and other soft material. They are so simple to make and are also considered one of the most ancient toy in existence. The earliest rag doll is even believed to be made as far back as 300 BC.

There are so many good things that can be derived by allowing kids to play with dolls when they are younger as compared to the more sophisticated toys that are supposedly better than the simple rag dolls in all aspects. For starters, doll play develops fine motor skills. Playing with miniature kids develop their finger dexterity.

Self help skills are also perfected. By practicing some moves on the doll, they will learn how to do the said things upon themselves. By dressing up their toys, they will learn how to get dressed as well. Giving their toys a bath will also familiarize them with the process.

Dolls also effectively teach children the value of hygiene and proper grooming. These are essential stuff that they need to learn early, so it is imperative that parents introduce their kids to these as early as they possibly could. By teaching kids how to give their dolls a proper bath, how to brush their teeth, comb their hair and other stuff, kids also would want to try these things out for themselves.

Doll playing also results in better cognitive development. Early interaction and imagination hones the ability of the brain to think well and critically. Playing pretend gives the toddler a way about the world without shattering innocence.

They can be very important aids in learning. The human body parts shared by both the doll and the kid makes it the perfect prop for learning about the anatomy. This lesson also develops the vocabulary as the words for the body parts are added to the word bank. You can also use them for other lessons like articles of clothing, different colors, and the like.

Social skills are also honed using them. Children can even take turns playing with different dolls and asking each other questions. You will be amazed at the depth of their answers.
