Seventh, experiment using a medium. A medium may be added into an oil or acrylic paints to achieve cool effects. There are many variations of this ranging from a matte finish or high gloss oil media to an acrylic media. These add gloss, texture, or body to the finished material.

Eighth, put the canvas in a safe place for drying. Make sure that your workspace is safe for drying. Doing it on a surface which is non stick is recommended to avoid sticking and messing up.
