Ideas For Foot Tattoo

By Darren Hartley

There are disadvantages to foot tattoo ideas. One of them is foot and hand tattoos have a tendency to be more painful than tattoos on any other spot on the body. This stems from the general notion that a tattoo done on a place where the skin is close to the bone hurts a little bit more.

Foot tattoo ideas require repetition. A tattoo lover who gets a foot tattoo, must be ready and set to go back and have it re-inked when the need becomes apparent. To avoid this trip as much as possible, the top of the foot is the best place for the tattoo. Other foot places must be avoided particularly the sides of the toes.

Healing is another issue as far as foot tattoo ideas are concerned. A tattoo usually takes two to three weeks to heal. During that time for healing, it must not be allowed to rub against clothing. This is a pretty simple matter for most tattoos but obviously not for foot tattoos.

Summer is the favourite season of foot tattoo ideas. It is the best time to get a tattoo on the foot. Winter can be a bit too cold to go barefoot during the healing process of the tattoo. The trousers must be rolled up should they be touching the fresh foot tattoo. Wearing shorts can be the alternative.

Moisture is a requirement for foot tattoo ideas. Keeping the tattoo moist is a matter of the application of a good ointment. However, making the foot tattoo too moist could lead to the bleeding of the colors. The foot tattoo must never be rubbed.

The advantage to foot tattoo ideas is their ease in hiding, specifically for wearers who work in a place where body art is not acceptable. A foot tattoo can look not only cute but very striking. Some may wonder why anyone bothers with a foot tattoo but others find these advantages to it reason enough to get one.
